OIL-GAS AGH 2012

United Oilfield Services attended 23nd OIL-GAS AGH 2012 Conference, which took place in Krakow, on 29-31 May, 2012. The Conference’s main theme was development of the unconventional gas fields in Poland and its title was:
UNCONVENTIONAL GAS IN POLAND.

Conference patronage: 
Waldemar Pawlak - Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Mikołaj Budzanowski - Minister of Treasury, Piotr Woźniak - Chief National Geologist, Prof. Jacek Majchrowski - Mayor of the City of Krakow, Prof. Antoni Tajdus - Rector of AGH University of Science and Technology.

The conference brought the possibility of celebration of 45th anniversary of the Faculty of Drilling, Oil and Gas and the 20thanniversary of SPE Poland Section.

The aims of the conference was summarized in the subtitle: “Modern methods and technologies in petroleum geology, drilling, geoengineering, reservoir engineering and gas engineering”. The Conference was the great opportunity to present scientific and technological achievements connected to exploration and development of unconventional gas reservoirs, allowed sharing experience, ideas and discussing new research fields involving the oil geology, the drilling and geoengineering, the reservoir engineering and petroleum engineering.

Cezary Filipowicz (Country Manager - Business Development), Kris White (Country Manager - Fracturing) and Sebastian Lenart (Drilling Manager) represented United Oilfield Services in specialized sessions and panel discussions.
